Fantasy Pitwall

How to Play

Everything you need to dominate the Fantasy Pitwall.

Overview

Each round, you build a lineup of 2 drivers, 1 team and 1 Pit Wall Lead within a budget cap of 100 credits. Lock your picks before qualifying begins, make your predictions, and earn points based on real race weekend results.

How it Works

1. Draft your lineup

Pick 2 drivers, 1 constructor team, and 1 Pit Wall Lead. Stay within the 100-credit budget. Teams have a 3-round minimum hold.

2. Make predictions

Predict pole sitter, race winner, exact podium, fastest lap, fastest pit stop team, safety car count, and red flag occurrence.

3. Lock before qualifying

Your lineup and predictions lock automatically when qualifying starts. No changes after that.

4. Earn points

Points are calculated from real session data — qualifying, sprint (when applicable), and the race. Scores update live and become official once race results are confirmed.

Scoring System

Each block rewards a distinct dimension of performance. There is no overlap between blocks.

Driver Score

Individual on-track performance — what the driver controls.

  • Qualifying position: P1 = 10 pts down to P9-10 = 1 pt
  • Qualifying DSQ/DNS: -5 pts
  • Beat teammate in qualifying: +3 pts
  • Sprint position: P1 = 8 pts down to P8 = 1 pt
  • Sprint overtakes (grid to finish): up to +/-4 pts
  • Sprint DNF: -5 pts
  • Beat teammate in sprint: +2 pts
  • Race position: P1 = 25 pts down to P10 = 1 pt
  • Race overtakes (grid to finish): up to +/-6 pts
  • Fastest lap of the race: +5 pts
  • Race DNF: -10 pts
  • Beat teammate in race: +4 pts

Team Score

Collective results and mechanical execution — both cars combined.

  • One car in Q3: +2 pts
  • Both cars in Q3: +4 pts
  • Qualifying DSQ: -3 pts
  • Both finished sprint: +2 pts
  • Both top 8 in sprint: +3 pts
  • Sprint DNF: -3 pts / double DNF: -6 pts
  • Both finished race: +3 pts
  • Both in points (top 10): +5 pts
  • Podium: +3 pts / double podium: +6 pts
  • Race win: +3 pts
  • Race DNF: -4 pts / double DNF: -8 pts
  • Fast pit stop: <2.2s = +4, <2.5s = +2, <3.0s = +1
  • Slow pit stop (>5.0s): -3 pts

Pit Wall Lead Score

Strategic decisions — timing, reactions, race management.

  • Qualifying strategy (cars in top 5): +2 / +4 pts
  • Race strategy gain (grid to finish sum): up to +/-6 pts
  • Points conversion: 2 cars in points = +4, 1 car + gain 3+ = +2
  • Strategy lost positions (both lost, no DNF): -3 pts
  • DNF penalty: -2 / double DNF: -4 pts
  • Clean race management (no penalties, both finish): +2 pts
  • Successful undercut/overcut: +3 pts
  • SC window gain (pitted near SC + gained positions): +4 pts

Predictions Score

Budget & Transfers

You have 100 credits per round. Asset prices change each round based on performance. Teams have a 3-round minimum hold — you cannot drop a team within 3 rounds of picking it.

Lock Timing

Entries lock automatically at qualifying start (Q1). After lock, no changes are allowed. Make sure your lineup and predictions are complete before the countdown reaches zero.

Tips

The Pit Wall Lead scores independently from your team pick — choose the best strategist regardless of constructor.
Undercut/overcut bonuses reward strategic pit timing relative to rivals, not just fast stops.
Prediction combos (pole+win+FL and exact podium) are high-risk, high-reward — go for them when you feel confident.
DNF penalties hit both your driver and team scores — reliability matters when picking.
